On behalf of myself, the children, staff and governors, I warmly welcome you to our new Painters Ash Primary School website. Painters Ash has a growing reputation for providing a good, stimulating and well - rounded education for children in Northfleet as confirmed by OFSTED June 2017. We are working hard to fulfil the school’s potential to be outstanding.

I am proud to be part of Painters Ash. It is a friendly, exciting place to learn. Our vision is to create a happy, balanced, caring, inclusive environment in which all our learners feel valued and are given the opportunity to thrive and succeed in reaching their full potential.

We aim to provide a lively, creative curriculum to challenge and motivate our pupils and enable them to participate in a range of high quality learning opportunities. In addition we employ specialist Art, Language and Music teachers. Our greatest resource is our skilled and dedicated staff who work tirelessly to provide the best teaching and learning experience for every child.

We want our pupils to enjoy coming to school and to be enthusiastic about learning. We will nurture, encourage and hopefully inspire pupils to achieve goals they have set themselves both academically and personally.

We encourage our pupils to be responsible and thoughtful and play an active part in all aspects of school life. Our School Council gives the children a voice where they can express their thoughts and ideas. We value our children’s opinions and give them an opportunity to work with the school to act upon some of their ideas.

At Painters Ash, we firmly believe that teamwork between children, parents, governors and school is the key to ensuring children achieve their full potential and have the very best educational experience. Parents/carers are always welcome and I encourage parents/carers to be fully involved in the life of the school. We therefore welcome parents to volunteer, take part in organised activities, show and share meetings, attend open days and curriculum meetings.

We look forward to seeing you and your child at Painters Ash.
